Do Coffee Grounds Make Peppers Happy?

I can get so much of the stuff, I'd love to spread it underneath my "row of doom"(Jalokias, fatali, chocolate habs, etc...). Good idea or big mistake?

I wouldn't use too much but it is good for the soil and good for slug deterrent. You are talking about used coffee grounds?

I add used coffee grounds to my compost pile. It's a good nitrogen source and has a relatively neutral ph. Mixing it straight into the soil should be OK as long as it's not too thick.
