pests Do I have aphids??

Came home today and was checking on the plants and discovered this on my uber productive 7-pod primo machine. Some of the leaves( under the shadecloth ???) have turned a blackish/purple  and most of them have the white pods you see in the photos. Lots of small whitish, knat like things in the air. I am worried this will morph their way onto my bhut and yellow fatali. Neem, soapy water in a sprayer .or......

You would clearly see the aphids if you had them. I can't see the pics well enough on my cell, but could it be spider mites?

Looks like powdery mildew but it is hard to tell from those pictures.

White flies do the white web or mold looking thing.

I see whitefly in some areas but they don't cause those large gray splotches. looks like you dealing w/ mold too.
