Do These Look Like Congos?

Here's Yellow Congo's I've grown in the past

and the more common Trinidad Congo.....which has the typical golf ball shape.
What I've noticed is that the Congo varieties have a deeper crevasse or riff the the smoother Habanero varieties. But when it comes down to it, all depends on the region...West Indies. Southern Caribbean, West Africa.etc......Habs, Bonnets and Congo's seem to be interchangeable in name. I've seen that amongst my island travels.

My Congo Trinidad (Trinidad Congo?) look just like yours (Roguejim) does.  I've never got one that looks like PIC 1's Congos.

Of course I got my seeds from someone on THP 4 years ago, so I can't verify their origin.  I don't even remember who it was, it was before I started writing everything about my peppers down.  But the peppers have remained true over the past 4 years
