Do worm castings go bad?

I've had an open bag of castings going on a year. The bag has been rolled up, but, do castings lose anything over time?

I have a worm factory 360 that I started last year, I'm about to harvest the castings, what's the best way to store them until needed?

I put mine in a 5 gallon bucket in my dark, cool garage. I mist them every now and then so that they don't dry out.
I was thinking of going to my Home Depot they have a great snap on top for a five gallon pail with a screw top seal I have bought a few of these for dry storage and I'll mist them, my basement stays @ 65 degrees year long.

Sounds good but I would put some holes in the lid as you don't want the castings going anaerobic which they will if you put them in a sealed container. :)
Wow I didn't think about that and your right
