issue Does a plant stop flowering if it's loaded with pods?

My plants are loaded, but they stopped flowering. Is that normal?? And will they flower again after I take a harvest??

Almost all my plants start flowering load up with pods, & continue flowering up until Frost ends everything.
Next to culling all those tiny doubles when we start, watching a perfect Pepper plant freeze & die with tiny pods & flowers still there,
well it really sucks.

Sorry for the late reply...

Roughly 75F-85F during the day, but we did have a couple nights dip into the upper 40s

Flower buds are starting, but turning yellow and dropping before blooming... The pods themselves are doing great, no yellowing leaves or anything on the plants either.

Perfect temps for peppers, the 40s should be ok for a few nights.
