Does this qualify as spicy or hot?

Every time I hear this song I think of spicy hot food, chili peppers, etc. As a matter of fact the Chili's food store chain (in the US) once used it in one of their television commercials where one guy was shaking hot sauce (to the beat of the song) into the food of his unbeknownst friend.
