Dragon Cayenne and Shisito Pepper Under LED

Running CREE 3070 LEDs, 2 running at 50w each. Hopefully it'll be enough light. 18/6 light schedule with 70% FFOF and 30% perlite. These were not started from seed. They were bought from home depot, so first day under LED.

Leds or other light sources means little.
No light source is better than another in general.

Watts is a measure of the juice your LEDs use on most data sheets.

Though most people think Watts means something other than what is advertised.

IF all LEDS put out the same light/lm.  as other sources PER WATT ,
Then watt or whatever would mean something.

I have 1 watt leds putting out up to 80 ln. and 3 watt ones putting out a max. of 35lm.
I watt 10mm leds I have put out even more Lm. 100 or so.(but in only certain NM.).

Mostly in nm. I can't get from 1 watt stars,in mostly orange NM. and low blues.

Your pics look like they are really yellow like halides are.

If they are white LEDS in 5000K to 6500k they will be like using fluoros +/-.
More Lm but the same wave lengths.

Looks like you are using between 3000 and 5000k.
I see a different group as 4000 to 6500K.
Depending what you have the lumens can be VERY cool in thenm needed for peppers.

Acording to the cree site.
I think you screwed up unless you have 3500k or higher Leds for peppers.

For me,any light source should be 5000-6500 k that works good for peppers.
The lm. rate looks great in general on the data sheet...

I only grow peppers.

Peppers will grow great under all 400-470nm and  or 625-670nm LEDS or both combined.
They aren't light specific in general as far as growth and fruiting goes.

Those LEDS do kick out the LM. according to the data sheet.

Great info smokemaster!  I believe mine are CXA3070 Z2 bins 3000K 80 CRI, and I'm running them @ 1400 mA.  Yes, mine seem very low on the 400-470nm range, but seem to be decent in the 625-670nm range.  Let me know what you think.  Would they be able to produce any peppers with this light setup?

Dragon Cayenne pruned and topped and about 12 days under these LEDs.

Shishito Pepper pruned and topped and also 12 days under LEDs.
