I just installed a drip irrigation system, and I am wondering how long people let thiers run for. I have mine set to run 1 hour a day every day. The emitters are 1 gallon/hr, and I have the timer set at 530pm during the heat of the day. I live on the east coast of VA so it gets fairly hot and humid. Plants get shade until around ~10am then get full sun. They are in raised beds. I'm going to adjust as I see fit, but just curious what other peoples settings are.

How often: every 2 days
How long: 40 minutes for now since it rains in the early summer. 1 hour later in the year if the plants need it.
I'm using mostly drip lines with 1/2gph emitters every 12". Big plants get dedicated drip emitters.
Fairly detailed install in in my glog in the last couple of pages.
