dry capsicum flowers

I'm looking for whole dry flowers. I want to make one of those boxes that entomologist make with bugs but instead of bugs capsicum flowers. Let me know which types you have like chinense frutescens annum galapagoense etc.

I can get some trinidad perfune, scotch bonnet, scorpion yellow, brainstrain, habanero, chinese 5 color and aji pine apple flowers right now, I can trade u some seeds if u have any.

Can you post a picture of the brainstrain, aji pineapple, and 5 color flowers? What you interested in seed wise?

How would you make a dried flower so it retained the characteristics of the fresh one? Put them in a dehydrator?

Spray them with aerosol hairspray to preserve flowers.

You can put flowers in some kitty litter or silica gel allow them to sit or just air dry
Never heard of hairspray but it makes sense

Hairspray sounds like a good idea. Probably your best bet to do it to them immediately after you pic them. A lot of them close up when the sun isn't strong.

yeah I would think with out spraying/painting them with something they will shrivel up, no?

I agree,never would look good after a 2-3 day transit. A lot of them only stay ardent,and fully open in bright sun. Let me see what I can do next week. I may be able to spray them as soon as I pick them.
