Drying Beaver Dam, is it worth it?

I'm growing Beaver Dam for the first time and it's a great pepper. I'm asking if drying for powder, will it retain it's flavor characteristics?

beaver dam would be fine as its not very hot compared to some, it also has a touch of sweetness that would lend itself to a great paprika when ground fine enough

i would say go for it, there are countless things you can use them in

thanks your friend Joe

Joe,

Thanks. That is exactly what I wanted to hear. I was hoping to use it as, or in place of some paprika.
