chinense Duke Pequin x Bhut Jolokia

Has anyone kept this cross going? I'd be curious to see how they're doing.

Those look awesome! I grew an op pequin cross last year...daddy was definitely chinense. Great blocky little pods with a touch of chinense flavor and bite. Wish someone would tell is where this yeti you reported lives. Good luck on your cross...I'll be watching.

Seems like this one went the way of the dodo. I'll work on a similar cross this summer.

Just thinking out loud: I wonder how you can stop a plant from self pollinating if you are intentionally trying to cross?? Do you just do a bunch and hope one is a cross? You wouldn't know it for 6 months.

I like the idea of getting wild genes into a good variety, kind of like some of us with our neanderthal genes ;-)
