DWC Plant dropping flowers

Hey guys,
 
Just wondering if this is completely normal for a DWC Scotch Bonnet?
 
The plant is as healthy as ever (apart from some aphids every now and then) and has tons of flowers, but the fruit percentage is about 10% or something like that.
I try to pollinate them myself using a q-tip and have a pedestal fan on them most days and little PC case fans on everyday.

Sometimes plants will drop flowers for a while before kicking into gear. My choc Hab dropped hundreds of flowers over a couple of months before suddenly producing dozens of fruit. Other plants in the same conditions were fruiting already.

You could try adding more red light as from my reading have learned that red light encourages fruit production. Also make sure you have plenty of potassium..

Found this on one of the branches up the back where I normally cant see :(

I have no idea :) Just look like them to me. Size, shape, the way they mass together.
I've never had aphids indoors that I can remember, but I'm also unfamiliar with their lifecycle.
