Early pod formation?

I have a "Butch T" that is starting to set pods. Do the pods usually take on the shape of the scorpion early in development or does it grow into it's shape over time? Thanks for any responses.

plants look great, but pods I don't know? never grew um, but look like my Fatalis coming out of the chute. I recently found some choco bonnets i believe, and they come out a different shape.A lot more rounded...

Thanks for the pics. I thought they started off with the tail but wanted a second opinion. Just got into super hots this season and bought my plants off of ebay. I know it's not the smartest thing to do now that i found this forum. I guess i'll have to see how they turn out.
