This system is cheap, very easy to setup, and great for people with limited grow space. You don't have to use 5 1/2" square pots. You can use different size net pots, fill the flood tray with Hydroton, use rockwool cubes, or any configuration that you like. Here's the link:

Again, not my instructions, but it's what I've used with different cooking herbs. I'm now going to try it with peppers. I'm just waiting on my Aji Chombo to come in.
