Fantastic Grocery Store "Habaneros"

What are these? They were labeled as habaneros, but that's not always accurate. Supposedly they're from the Dominican Republic. I ate a few that were identical to the red one, and they were delicious, and pretty hot. Thanks!

looks like scotch bonnet to me

they are red scotch bonnets, i get the same ones here at a local ethnic grocer. have a fermented pepper sauce on the go from them and a powder.
 
also, have the yellow version both are quite tasty and the pods do vary in shape. and by the time they reach the grocer, i have a challenge at finding clean, non rotten pods.

Awesome! So, this indicates that I LOVE scotch bonnets. Do commercial C. Chinense tend to come "true to seed"?

They look like the Caribbean Reds I grew last summer. I really don't think the shape and color is scotch bonnet-ish,
