This is the first time for me to harvest at 32 F, but I did for the last 3 chile plants that I kept outside.

This is my 1st year with these Calabrians, and I am surprised that they, originating from Southern Italy, can withstand frost. Best do the jalopeno type, and the little chinese ones (so called by Calabrian locals). Even with this cold, they still form new pods. The Amando's leaves started yellowing in October already, but it still gave me a nice harvest.
Anyone else has chiles that handle frost?
