First of 9 cubes has sprouted in 5 days.

I'm really surprised at the results I've gotten from my germination tray. Of the 9 types of peppers I started, the Naga Morich are the first to sprout and did so in 5 days. That's a lot sooner than I expected to see them.

The sprout is just clearing the top of the rockwool cube. 1 of the 3 seeds is showing.

I hope the other 8 types will be up early also.

Is 5 days unusual? I keep reading 10 to 30 days...

The 30-day and longer germination reports generally come from people new to gardening and growing chiles.

Impatience also causes long germination times.... "a watched pot never boils"
