Fish Pepper Seeds--An Apology

Earlier this year I gave Fish pepper seeds to several forum members. My plants are now putting on pods, and I'm afraid they are not Fish Peppers. They look like a Cayenne.I don't think I got seed batches mixed up, so maybe a cross took place (this would be a first for me that I know of). Either way, my apologies and a warning to anyone who I gave the seeds to.

So far, no variegation in the leaves. The parent plant did have some variegated leaves, and the pods I saved seeds from had nice creamy stripes running the length of the pods. Leaves on these plants look like garden variety annuums.
