Fluorescent Purple Peppers

They censor the picture of the peter pepper!
:lol::lol:

I had bought some seeds from Pepper Joe the first year I was growing peppers. It seemed like some of them did not match their labels. I did get the Fluorescent Purples and they grew good and have survived the winters outdoors here in CA. They have OK taste and a mild to medium heat. I really like the purple leaves & flowers on them more than the peppers themselves.

I have these seeds.

I think they're meant to be the same cultivar.

The one seed I planted grew into a plant without any purple or white.
Im not sure if I mislabled, or had a wrong seed in the bag.

I will seed a couple more this later season.

I find alot of the ones that are supposed to be different colors/varigated need some direct sun or high intenisty light to do so.

not saying that yours wont change or that you we'rent sent the right ones, just saying it's something I've found.
