Found Bhut Jolokias in the general public!

I stopped by the store on the way home and asked the guy if they any peppers hotter than habaneros and he had to go to the back of the store. When he came back with a smile on his face i knew it was a successful search. so I got two cartons of Ghost peppers in a store. I thought that was really cool to find just randomly but it may be pretty common idk. I ate my first one tonight and it was quite the rush! Will definitely do it again!

they sell them here both fresh and dried  at the local kroger/frys..  (phoenix az.) i think the brand was melinda. the price was 5.99/lb fresh and 8.99 for dried.
Where did you find them ? HEB?

No actually i got them from Central Market, they came in a carton of about 15 and my dad and I ended up buying two cartons. and being in North central Texas in the cold seasons i wouldn't think i would have any luck. and i didn't even see dried ones, but i like fresh better anyway.

i would save some seed and grow them, there's no telling whether they will always be available,at least when you grow them yourself you will have them and alot more of them and alot cheaper than buying then all the time

thanks your friend Joe

yes nice but other years I have more than that around 100 plus

I kinda have a hobby biz selling seeds etc I really enjoy growing and sharing seeds, I don't really have a biz per say but I wanted Nigel to do a few reviews to let everyone on here enjoy them and raise awareness of new or otherwise unknown species, there is a lot of emphasis put upon superhots, I don't generally don't specialize in them but I love the obscure and exotic and that's the group I generally target
those like me

I also don't eat too many superhots as my guts cant handle them anymore, I like the flavor of some of them but the pain and discomfort for days at a time is just not worth it

Alright man if i ever need some seeds you will be my go to guy!

Hey Joe, what is the scoop on the Pink Tiger? I've heard a about a few people that are going to grow it, but I've not seen any photo's or even a complete discription about it. I'm looking to replace some of the super hots that I have for some milder peppers with more flavor to them.
