I went to the local farmers market this week and picked up some Golden Cayenne and Hot Paper Lantern peppers from one of the vendors. I know they're not highly coveted like the superhots, but I figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone who hadn't tried them before would like to grow some. The Golden Cayennes were almost 'juicy' with a size and taste pretty close to red cayennes but with just a little more heat and smooth skin. The Hot Paper Lanterns are a 3" x 1/2" Habanero variety suited to grow up north. I spoke with the owner of the farm; he said they started maturing to red in under 90 days and his plants were loaded with peppers. I have 50 seeds of each variety to share with anyone who would like some (10 per pack). Post up to claim your spot and then PM me for the address.
