freezing weather last 2 days

Our local weather dropped below 30* 2 days in a row. I have several varities of peppers that I left in the ground unprotected from the weather. All of my annuums varities have died, all of my Caribbean Reds are still alive as well as my Bishops crowns and Brazilian starfish. My 3 varieties of bhuts all died as well. Its interesting how different cultivars can withstand temperatures that the others cannot. 
 
Also my thai and cayenne peppers survived the cold. I also brought a few container plants into my garage-  my choc habs, choc fatalii and bishops crowns. A total of 10 plants and some jalapeno seedlings.
