Fresh wild peppers available?

Hate to tell you this, man, but they don't ship well, at least in my experience. Certain pods, especially the fleshier/higher moisture ones, tend to get mushy. I can tell you this, though: they're some of the best-tasting peppers I've ever eaten, and the heat level is just right. Secret confession: when I get up every morning and go out to water and look over my plants, I eat most of the Tepins before they ever make it into the house.

I guess it explains why I've never seen them sold fresh, only dried.  I too have heard these are some of the best tasting peppers out there. Thanks for the response.

Tell you what, man. Sending you a friend request. I find myself in Tampa from time to time, mostly because of a truly epic restaurant (I mean, what other reason would one have to go to Tampa?) The next time I'm headed to the northern part of the state, let's hook up so I can give you some pods and plants.

Also, points for the daguerreotype icon.

Thanks a lot Mike, and that sound great. Let me know next time your in the area and we could meet up. I might have a plant or two or some pods to share as well.
