Gday.

Hi all from Sydney Australia.

Was just doing some research on some of the chillies that I am growing and came across this forum, I figured I am on tapatalk for a few other forums so why not.

Firstly, i am at work right now doing night shift so was looking up chillies to keep myself busy.

Secondly this is really my first season growing chillies (at home of course, not at work).

I have been growing 3 types.

Hungarian peppers
Orange habanero
And Yaki blues.

The hungarian have really been and gone for the season. I got dozens of them from the one plant but it seems to have stopped flowering. Still has 2 large peppers growing on it which i will use to get some seeds for next year.

The orange habs have been quite prolific. I have once again taken dozens from it, and there are still dozens left on them (2 plants). They are ripening nicely, a dozen or so will ripen and then by the time i use them or guve them to friends another dizen or so will ripen.

The yakis have been different though. I have been wondering for months if it was going to fruit at all, the plant seemed very healthy but no flowers. But over the last 3 weeks it has sprung to life. 50 or 60 little flowers sprung out. Only 2 chillies at first. The speed that these 2 are growing is amazing. Now a couple of weeks on there are.quite a few more chillies starting to grow. At first.at least they seem to double their size every day.

Any way, enough about my chillies.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

Bob.

Welcome to THP.

Thanks all.

I have been reading some of the threads here on my little phone and I see that some of you mad buggers are growing insane amounts of stoopid hot chillies.

I love it. Can't wait to get home and look at some of it on a proper screen.
