seeds-germination Germinating seeds after several months

Since I have the seeds from Pepperlover, but decided to put a moratorium on germinating them until October/November when I take over my parents' house in Jupiter, will they by & large still be OK? I'm thinking Yes, but I wanted to make sure, since I'd hate to have to buy all new seeds when the time comes....

I've germinated 4 year old seeds. You'll be fine. Just keep them dry and away from light.

You bet they will be fine! Just keep em sealed up in a cool dark place. I keep mine in the dresser drawer.

Actually didn't some scientific group just germ some seeds that were like a couple thousand years old? I seem to remember reading about i last year or so.
As far as I know seeds have a pretty good shelf life if kept dry.
Best I've ever tried is a couple seasons old but they did just fine with like 80% germination.

Yea, i havd 100% germ rates on brains i saved from june of last year. I soake them in water for about 30 minutes than put in rapid rooters and go.
