I get green sechuan peppercorns in the local asian store. As I read the wiki, it supposed to be the most active on in the numbing ingredient and sour. I am still experimenting with the roast level, but so far I really like it as chewing one of these green shells. Tastes like rich citrus, sour and bitter with tingling effect on your mouth. I think having a plant with fresh fruits would be amazing, I was not aware of that species of the citrus family.
