Getting Cold / Lots of Green Pods

It's going down to 3c on the weekend and I have tons of green pods still hanging in there. Will the paper bag thing work or will these be a write off ?

I don't think 3°C for a short period of time (I'm assuming that's just the minimum temp) should do much damage. Yeah, you could use a paper bag or shield them from the cold with some plastic foil, that can't hurt.

We've had a couple of dips to 5°C during the night here already and my peppers are doing just fine without any help from me.

Frost, however, is a killer. So if there's any chance the temp dips below 0, you definitely have to do something about that.

I'm sitting in the same boat with ya Z. I've found that the paper bag trick will work if the pepper has some ripening already started. If it's totally green your odds go down of them ever ripening. I'm getting used to the idea that I'm going to have a lot of green pepper powder this year. The flavor isn't there but the if the pod is full grown the heat is. Best of luck to ya buddy.
