ghost pepper rate of growth

what is a normal rate of growth for ghost peppers assuming all conditions for growing them are acceptable. an inch a week? more? less? just trying to make sure my plants are growing at an acceptable rate.

"acceptable" conditions here in the high desert.
Inch a week on my Tepins, 1/2" on my Habeneros, Ghosts have been in the ground a month, and I think the leaves have gotten a bit bigger.

And even slower here as the weather is in the 100s so growth pretty much only occurs in the evenings and early morning when it cools down a bit.

I must be doing something wrong, my ghost is growing pretty quick, 2" last week alone. The fatalii only put on 1.75" in 2 weeks, it is healthy but not having the growth spurts I expected, making it one of the slowest growing in my greenhouse.
