seeds GHOST PEPPER SEEDS FOR NEXT YEAR

I have been drying some seeds on top of the frig for about 6 weeks but they still seem to have a very waxy feeling around the seeds. I think they should be dried and ready to put up for next year. Any ideas or is this normal

One or two days is all you need, that waxy/shinny look is normal

I air dry my seeds for 3 days, and they germinate fine afterward. Six week is excessive.

Is that wet waxy feeling ok? I'm thinking its not dried. This is my first time with the ghost pepper

2-3 days is all you need. wax feeling could be an illusion, magnify em if your really worried.

I read some were 2 weeks i dry mine for a week, make shure when you put seeds up to keep em in cool dry place and make shure they cant mold i like a ziplock bag and i leave it cracked,

While I like your idea of drying on top of fridge, mine’s built into a cabinet and I don’t have access to its top. Where I live a few hours in the sun at max does the trick and I store them so they can breath for a few weeks before ziplocking them.

Edit: I should have said that I do this with all my seeds but I currently do not grow ghost peppers.

i let my seeds dry for a full week in open air then little coin envelopes they go.
