Gidday!

Just thought I would briefly introduce myself and say a big thanks to all of the posters on here, the information and photos are awesome and inspirational.  I love my chillies, I am growing golden habaneros, bhut jolokia, cayennes and jalepenos at the moment outside.  I am also just finishing setting up a small grow room indoors to keep growing over winter, due to the frosts in Canberra.

I make sauces and jerky, and have been home brewing for nearly 10 years now, and grow my own hops too.  My wife is a mad keen preserver, we just finished bottling over 50 litres of tomato passata and pasta sauce, so I can see some hot sauces on the go when the cayennes ripen up!  We have fruit trees, so peach and habanero sauce is a staple here, and we also make our own cider.  In my spare time I love bbq, tinkering with my bonsai trees and try and keep in line couple of crazy whippets.

Cheers

Enjoy your stay, lots of great info and friends here...
Thanks guys, really appreciate the warm welcome from you all.    Trident, it is a bougainvillaea.  It was growing for 20 years in the ground up a shop in Brisbane, and it was pulled out when the building was demolished.  A local enthusiast managed to rescue it and bring it back to this, just an amazing tree.
