Gnarly Pods, Pod Porn 2016

Peppers are putting on pods like crazy. I am getting a good selection of Gnarly, Brainy Looking Pods. To me the wrinklier the better!!

Nice looking pods.  My caramel bhuts last year were gnarly also, but not so much brainy like yours more sharp spikey bumps.  That MOA looks wicked, wonder if its crossed with a butch T or something, haven't see one quite like that yet.  Keep up the good work, they look great.

Not sure about bumps, but understand that because super hots produce the cap in the inside surface of the flesh, the wrinkles make them hotter because there is more surface area to produce the cap.

My brainy " wrinkled " pods have always been hotter than my smooth pods even from the same plant. When you split it open there are more oils inside the wrinkled ones. I guess maybe just more surface area and crevices for the oil to propagate?

Thanks! I believe its quite common to see tails in the MOA. Like the bahamian goat, some just produce tails. I got the seeds from a member on here that runs the hot toddy pepper co.
