Good morning. Great day for fishing, hope you bring home lots for a fish fry. Sic, glad you could order parts for your vehicle. The waiting game is on. I’m going to meet friends at a nursery this AM, haven’t seen them since before Covid. Maybe we can do lunch and talk about old times.

Good morning. CG watering, weeding, and clean up after a bit of rain a couple of days ago. I started picking currants and hope to finish those plus some Montmorency sour cherries. The neighbor was taken to the hospital last night - I’m waiting to hear how she is.

Good morning.  It's 72 on its way to 86.  Looks like it might be a dry day.  Fishing was good.  Got the lawn mowed too.  Too lazy to trim.  I'll do that this morning.  Looks like the Canadian border might open in mid August.  Our Ontario fishing trip had been previously rescheduled to late August.  I hope it works out.  Our grandson is here keeping grandma busy.  Not sure what else I've got going on.  I've got to make a store run for adult beverages.  Most likely grilling and having some beverages this evening.  Be safe be good.  
 
Good morning.  It's 69 on its way to 85.  It should be a dry day but I was wrong about that yesterday.  The WX forecasters swung and missed yesterday.  We were supposed to be dry but it ended up raining almost 2" and flash floods. I know!  More rain .... it's crazy.  Going fishing in a bit.  Not much else happening after that.  Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Enjoy the day on the water Harry, Catherine hopefully your neighbor is ok. Boiled peanuts for breakfast. Wife is doing weed control in one of the gardens, I need to work on some fencing. Good morning. Thanks for the concern about my neighbor, Sic. She is one strong gal, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Our air index was poor again, so maybe she is just staying inside. We had a quick shower yesterday so I hope to finish picking those tiny currants this AM. Most of my tomato plants have only a couple of tomatoes or none. Beautiful plants, too hot for a few even with shade cloth.

Good morning. It's 65 on its way to 85.  Sunny to partly cloudy.  No Rain!  Busy work schedule today.  I've got 118 pepper plants that aren't doing a whole lot but putting on foliage.  It's either way too hot or raining.  More garden diseases this year and a ton of insects.  I think my wife is taking a day off.  She was busy with the grandson for the entire weekend.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. Mid 90’s predicted all week with poor air quality. We have a red sunrise this AM and no clouds. I have CG chores and then Costco shopping. Yesterday we made jam with our currants and the neighbor’s sour cherries. Good and tart.

Good morning.  It's 67 (19c) on its way to 87 (31c).  Sunny to partly cloudy.  Very busy work schedule today.  Yesterday, we picked a nice haul of jalapenos.  We better finish off last year's jalapeno poppers because this years are coming on fast!  We also picked a few tomatoes and a bucket of blackberries.  I need to mow again this afternoon.  With all of the rain we've had, I'm mowing every 4th day.  My wife made gyros last night from leftover steak that she thinly sliced and homemade tzatziki sauce.  Our local news said that the Canada/US border will open to vaccinated non-essential visitors on August 9. Our fishing trip is scheduled for the end of August. Be safe and be good.  
 
Headed to stables to mow paddocks. We also have small job picking up some tree debris. Need to drop off clutch at mechanic also, hopefully engine will be there soon. Busy day, be glad when this evening arrives. Be good, safe and have a great day. Good morning.
 
Good morning. Another hot, poor air index ahead, so the garden gets worked on early. I also have the dogs today. My neighbor’s cancer index has doubled so her oncologist will try to find a clinical trial for her. This smoky air is not good for plants or beasts.

Good morning.  It's 66 (19c) on its way to 89 (32c).  It should be dry and mostly sunny today.  Should be another beautiful polluted smoky red sunrise.  Mowed last evening.  I had to raise the mower deck again!  My lawn should be long dormant by now but with all of this year's rain, it just keeps growing and needs to be mowed every 4th day.  Harvested another bed of potatoes .... got around 50 lbs of mostly red ones.  4 more beds to go .... those are mostly russets and aren't ready for harvest yet.  Moderate meeting schedule today.  Heading to the match this evening.  Catherine ... sorry to hear about your neighbor.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. Thank you guys for thoughts for my neighbor. She loves her garden, but it just isn’t producing like it should. I have CG chores this AM, get leaves for more mulching, then come in out of the smoky haze. Memorial service tonight. My One Ball summer squash and Sweet Success cukes are finally putting out fruit, will check out the beets, too.

Good morning.  It's 67 (19c) on its way to 91 (33c).  Our temperatures are creeping back to summer norms.  It appears to be the start of a hot and humid stretch of weather. The forecasters are saying up to 98 for the next week or so. I'm a little tired this morning.  Weekday matches are not my favorite and I got home late.  Very busy office schedule today.  Today is my Friday so that is good. My wife finished canning beets yesterday.  When I walked in the door last night I noticed that she had picked a bucket of tomatoes.  I expect she'll be processing those in the next few days.  Not sure what else we've got going on.  I think we'll have our grand daughter this weekend. Good morning. It looks like the July 90*+F are here for awhile. I thinned a few beets yesterday and hope to pick enough for a batch. Harry, your wife is way ahead of us with her/your harvests. Just nice to have harvests this year. We have a zoom mtg. Tonight about trusts, wills, etc. to see how stuff has changed. I’d better take notes . . . Time for breakfast and let the cat out to wander. She is definitely a hunter.
