off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny and 74F, on its way to 84F. Calling for humid, with a blend of sun and clouds. The usual chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. Weather didn't cooperate yesterday. So, today I'm heading to the garden to do SOMETHING, lol. Hey Sic, did Sonya paint the mural on the wall behind the bench? It looks awesome. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 62-82F, a bit cooler, dry day. We’re assembling baby layettes today instead of Thursday as I’ll be busy elsewhere. The CG needs lots of weed TLC, maybe I’ll find time to pull a few more. At least we *knock on wood* don’t have the blasted beetles yet.
Enjoy this beautiful day. Sonya, your garden is outstanding.

Good morning. It's 69F on its way to 84F. Cloudy, much cooler and humid. Occasional rain and T-Storm. Raining right now. Only got to mow the side yard and backyard yesterday before I got rained out. Need to mow the front yard sometime today. Otherwise, packing for my fishing trip. Sipping on sangria and having steak pitas this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 71F, on its way to 89F. Calling for humid, with a mix of sun and clouds. The usual chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon, just like the one that came through yesterday and dumped 0.73" of rain. Stopped us again from doing anything meaningful in the garden. Today's another day to try, I guess. Need to make that run to the dump first...if it doesn't rain, lol. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there, and enjoy YOUR gardens, ha.

Good morning. It's 67F on its way to 88F. Cool and foggy. No rain. Finally finished mowing yesterday (between torrential downpours). Got 0.84" yesterday. Trimming today then futzing with fishing trip stuff. Pizza and sangria this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 58-90F, dry and sunny. I wish we had some of your rain! CG for watering, maybe digging a few garlic as it’s July! Visiting a nursery with DIL after lots of chores. Then back home and weeding. Not very exciting but at least things are growing.
Have a wonderful day. Stay cool.

Good morning. It's sunny and 81F, on its way to 86F. Calling for humid and some sun, then clouds with a couple showers and a thunderstorm this afternoon. Flood watch in effect. Worked on the garden electric fence yesterday. Think it's working again. Also got another row of tomatoes planted. They'll be late, but we'll still get some fruit. Dr's appointment this afternoon, then an errand or two. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 66F on its way to 90F. RF 99F. The forecast is for plenty of sunshine. Light breeze. A little foggy to the east right now. No Rain. Trimmed yesterday (I was shocked how long it took). With all the rain we've been having, the vegetation seems like it's growing like we're in Florida. Casual futzing today. Got my fishing tackle ready to go on the trip. The food is ready to go. Need to finish up packing clothing and stuff. Got lots of green tomatoes out in the garden. The potatoes will be ready dig up by the time I get back. Picked some serranos and some jalapenos last evening. Frying some fish this evening. Not much else is going on. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 68F, on its way to 85F. Calling for humid, with a mix of sun and clouds. A few showers possible this morning, with a thunderstorm in spots this afternoon. Had another pop-up thunderstorm yesterday. Received another 1.11" of rain. Very wet this morning. Snuck down to the garden yesterday morning, before our Dr's appointments. Got a few more rows planted. Only two left to do. It'll be a few days, because the ground is so wet. Today, I think I'll work some more in the garden, just not digging. Weeding, work on getting drip system up and running, etc. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 62-90+F. July weather is here for sure, hot and dry. Met DIL at the nursery yesterday and purchased a trellis for daughter’s rampant rose. Now she need to clip the branches to it. The nursery was full of plants and people(!). Good luck to them.
Have a wonderful day and stay hydrated. DR, I know your garden harvest will be abundant.

Going on a walk with the wife. I have to go get and replace a belt on a mower. Sonya has a couple errands to run. Lots of rain the next 2 days. Going to chill most of the day and play some bass and maybe a little geetar. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 72F on its way to 91F. RF 100F. Partly sunny and humid. No rain. Fighting the good fight against Catherine's beetles. Seems to be a bumper crop this year. Futzing today and finishing up packing. Maybe do some landscape maintenance. Meatloaf this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 62-94F, hot and dry. CG to water and dig a couple of garlic (my fun for the day), deliver the baby layettes to the distribution place, then the day is mine. I started digging up my iris clumps for a friend’s fundraiser. Now that’s a real chore!
Have a wonderful day. Stay hydrated in this heat.
DR, I’ll be planting bush beans after the garlic is harvested - they do well enough in July and love the heat. Good luck with your next few rows.

Good morning. It's sunny and 72F, on its way to 88F. Calling for mostly sunny. That's it; that's the forecast, lol. Might be a tad warm, but that's ok. Maybe things will start drying out. Did all the errand running yesterday, and finally made that dump run. Now we're not nearly as trashy as we were, ha. Not sure what's on today's agenda, but it's going to be outside! Catherine, yeah it's getting so late in the season, I think I'm only gonna plant bush beans as well. I just have to figure out which ones, lol. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's sunny and 66F, on its way to 87F. Calling for mostly sunny, and nice weather to celebrate Independence Day. Sounds good to me. Spent yesterday caging peppers and tomatoes. It might be dry enough to plant those last two rows today. We'll see. Hope everybody has a SAFE and Happy 4th of July!

Good morning and Happy Independence Day. It's 72F on its way to 90F. Mostly sunny, breezy and humid. Went ahead and harvested the potatoes yesterday and got close to 60#s. Also harvested more beets and the last of the leeks. Picked some more jalapenos and serranos. Our blackberries are late this year and are just now ripening. Mowed yesterday and the mower broke down 2/3 way through. Lost an idler pulley on the mule drive. I have no idea where it launched to. I found the nut and the bushing but no pulley. Had to borrow my sister's mower to finish up the lawn. Ugh. Trimming this morning and then doing final packing. Have to take my sister's mower back too. Grilling something this evening. Be safe and be good.
