Green Arrow Nursery,N.Hills Ca.

Taking a bus to get supplies from Homey Depote isn't an option. LOL
Crap, where am I supposed to spend my paycheck at?
Gonna get fatter buying eats from Vallarta I guess...
Next week is their last orders for plants.
Their Veggies are very well supplied now-as in a lot of Pepper Plants etc.

If in town,stock up.

I was there today.

Go for it if you can.
They,as usual have a good supply of varieties.

22 yrs. (for me) of walking up the street to get some great varieties that other Nurseries didn't sell.
I spent a LOT of time talking to several guys and Gals that work there.
Gonna be Condo's now.
It Sucks!
I'll miss several people I've known over the years.
I spent a lot of time talking to Chris about stuff concerning my Garden.

A great source bites the dust.
What a shame!
They have been there since I was a kid.
Started in 1956 I think.

Land is worth $.
Condo's....Probably can't BBQ or grow a few plants there either-once built.

Oh well,I guess the bus is going to have to deal with my luggage cart with a bail of potting mix or whatever next year.

No more Skool learned guys to ask questions about stuff in my grow.
Homey Depote guys are just bodies to send you to a cashier.
Really Sad!

Your area is primed for $$.

Reminds me. Not sure if this is the case in N. Hills with the garden center but... When business passes to new generations the new generation may not want to carry on. I see it here. Farm land that has been grown for strawberries, celery, broccoli, sod, lemons, oranges, pumpkins, berries and flowers turns into the latest development. Condos, commercial, etc. we lose a little bit of farm land with each change in generations. Not offering an opinion good or bad. Farm land and condos have standing in the community.

Sucks cause HD has nothing to offer for true adventure. At least Geen Thumb brings in everything from Poblano to Reaper to Datil. I know we grow from seed but once in a while a guy needs a used #5 black plastic nursery pot.
