Green Trini's

Hello all.I'm wanting to try and hold out for my Trini's to turn.In the case that they don't before I have to prune and bring them in,can they be dried for powder green? What will be the difference between green and ripe?Flavor wise.

I haven't grown any Trinidads to maturity yet, but I love the powder I got from my green Bhut Jolokias on all kinds of things. If they are full size, just lacking color, they're worth drying if you really have to. But still-growing pods do have a distinctly 'unripe' lacking of flavor.
