Greetings From Arizona

I am a long time, on and off again, pepper grower. My favorite pepper is the Tepin, or chiltepin, or bird pepper. Latin name
Capsicum annuum var. glabriusculum. They grow wild in parts of southern Arizona and Northern (Sonora) Mexico. I have had great success growing these and have had plants live to 5 or 6 years old.

I currently have a new raised bed garden, and have Tepin, Jalapeno, Hatch, Bell, and Banana peppers doing well. They seem to really like the current temps here, mid 90's and 70's overnight. I am thrilled to find this site and be a part of this community. I have a question about my hatch chiles and leaf damage, which I will post after this greeting! Hello!
