Where I live the temperature never gets lower than 55°F so people here plant peppers the whole year. i'm hoping to learn the most here.

Well you never know. I met a woman in St. Miguel De Allende in Mexico and 3 months later someone who worked with her son in Germany was living down the hall from me.
