For veggies! Can it be done or do I need dirt also. I'm going to need to fill a raised bed (~23 cubic yards) with something so it can be used this spring-fall. I can get plain ol dirt for the bottom six-eight inches, no problem. A community that has a boatload of compost said I can have all I need and the fair has a huge pile of completely decomposed cow manure/straw. I can probably also get a load of topsoil if I need to but if I can grow with just the stuff at hand, it would be better.
