I have some questions about this form of gardening
*do i use mulch i.e shredded leaves to control evaporation?
*what kinda support is the most versatile -bamboo if bamboo sticks where you guys getting them?
what is the best soil mixture for pot growing?

I personally don't use mulch as I had bugs making houses in the mulch, I just pay close attention to the watering.

Any sturdy stick will do. I use sticks from my trees most of the time.

Lightweight soil that provides good air circulation to the roots, doesn't stay soggy, but should hold enough water to keep the plants healthy. ProMix is a highly recommended.
