Is that BCG NiB? What trigger is that and how do you like it?
The FDE stuff looks weird with Burnt Bronze. You should swap out the selector, dust cover, and anti walk pins with black. It looks good that way

Let's try and unpack this....
1) Although the LPVOs are handy.....they always remind me of a broken scope.....because the front of the tube just abruptly ENDS. So...it's a cosmetic peeve to me. The 1 MOA red dot with a flip to the side 3X magnifier (and a QD mount) is a fantastic combination.
2) Given the photo I posted, I can see where the FDE doesn't make sense with the Burnt Bronze......
......however, when you zoom out.....you'll see why it DOES work.......
.....and this AR is all about escaping as much black as I can muster. To each, their own.
3) The trigger is a CMC drop-in with 2LB pull. I absolutely LOVE the CMC triggers. I have them in ALL my ARs.
4) The BCG is, indeed, Nickle Boron. It's a Fail Zero unit and has given me miles of smiles.
5) And finally.........
.....move the hell out of California.

Got a new decal coming for the back glass in my truck. Better than those stick people!
About 4 years ago.......I took custody (for free) of an incomplete and abused Over/under 12G Shotgun:
Not only was the hand-guard and hardware missing.......some moron had sanded off the barrel bluing and SPRAY PAINTED it...
....Being that this gun hasn't been imported from Spain since the 1990's......and the company has since gone bankrupt.....and parts sourced domestically are rare as hell......it sat in the corner of my gun room until last week.
I FINALLY found a dealer on eBay that had the parts I needed! So.....when they arrived, I began the resoration process.
The sanded and painted barrel was the most egriegous sin.....
.....but, the receiver also looked like it had been dropped on the pavement:
...not to mention that the whole gun was filthy and unpolished.....
So.......the new fore-end came in the mail last week:
The restoration began.......
