It's looking beautiful, nice TLC.

What did you use to re-blue, some sort of cold bluing I take it?
Or did you do it righteously and have it hot blued?

Do you know how to hot blue?

Yes, I've helped do it twice at a gunsmiths shop.

It's expensive to setup for small items/piece work.
It's dangerous if care isn't taken.
But damn, the results are awesome.

That said, my question about it was posed as, "...if you HAD it done."
You seem like the type that likes nice things.
That would be willing to send it off and pay the money to have it done.

U guys are lucky in the US with the low cost of Guns/Ammo.
Feral primers now $65 instead of $50 plus tax (hard to come by like may things now and more Border luxury taxes sky rocketing the prices).
Was lucky to find some 9mm locally, was down to 100 rounds left. Got these this morning.

Videos please

Although this might be something that I may have tried, but alas, it is not my invention. Just a photo off of the good ol' internet.
It looks quite do-able and if I ever welded one, I can guarantee it would hold(45 years maintenance and fabrication welding on class 8 trucks and heavy construction equipment).
I probably would have put a reinforcing band around the chamber tying it to the mechanism! How about you guys?
