event Halloween Treats 2020

Thought it would be nice see what treats people might be making for Halloween
 
Chocolate Date Almond bars.
 
Coco paste (70%) (%100 pure)
Dates (30%)
Almonds fried.
Salt
 
 
..almost forgot, added Chipotle.

Interesting suggestion... I/We don't celebrate Halloween, but Día de Muertos - like any other Mexican festival/feast - requires something to eat Chocolate and peppers with a smoky taste combine well.

Easy Marzipan experiment.
 
1 part coconut/Almond flour, 1 part honey, vanilla, salt.
 
I didn't have Almond flour so used coconut.
Important to let it soak for several days, three in my case.
 
Used as base to mix or wrap other sweets.
 
Worked out great

Shortbread Cookies.
Topped with pure coco paste then wrapped with Marzipan (Chipotle is my go to pepper for Chocolate)

Pumpkin Pie.
Sweet Pie Pumpkin, Dates, Raisins, eggsies, coconut flour, cloves, allspice, cinnamon, Sweet Heat peppers.
