Hardening off?

I'm getting ready to move some pants outside that have been under a 600 watt MH so my question is do they need hardening off? They are about 18" from the light so I'm not so sure. I will probably let them stay in a shadier part of the yard for a few days.

Yes, I would harden them off for sure.

Let them sit in the shade for a while. being under the hid helps but that sun is way brighter.

no matter what light you use, you always have to harden off, even the brightest watts and best light isnt even close to the effect o our big fire ball in the sky lol

I'll let them stay in the shade where they will get filtered sunlight.
