Has Any1 Ever Made There Own Garden Soil Im Thinking Of Making My Own But I Wanna Know Do You Get More Soil Making It Yourself Or Samething As Just Buying A Bag Of Soil?​

Cause I Have About 40 Plants Getting Bigger & Its Gonna Be Pricy Buying Soil, so i just wanted to know will it be cheaper making my own or just as pricy as buying it made already​

I compost a lot and that and leaves make great soil.. the key is to mix it with regular soil for a month or so to get all the good bacteria in the soil to react to the composted material.. it breaks it down very quickly and you get really really good soil.. in addition to that i add fully composted horse manure from a local horse farm.. i only do that every 2-3 yrs.. the year after i do that i get 5-6 ft tomato plants and at least 4 ft pepper plants...
