Hello All

New to this forum.  New to ANY forum actually so please forgive any stupidity.  Just getting into pepper growing.  Started two years ago in a raised 4 x 8 bed, mostly to grow my own peppers for smoking/drying and making powders and paprika.  So far I've been growing Nu Mex peppers along with the standard Pablano, Jalapeno, Serano, Padrone, and Black Hungarian.  I got a ton (not really a ton) of  Nu Mex peppers last year some were roasted and eaten green, while most were harvested red and smoked, dried and powdered.  This year I've started on some hotter chilis as I've got some Habanero and Manzano starts.  Pretty excited about the Manzano.  I'm hoping for the best up here in the NW.  Thanks for listening.

Hi from about 200 miles away!

Good luck with your manzanos and others. I am curious about manzano peppers but haven't tried them yet.

Welcome to The Hot Pepper.

Well you've got a he-double-hockey-sticks grow list there for a newbe! I'm hoping you have success with the C. pubescens (Manzanos)! Plan for bringing them indoors to ripen....
