My name is Colin. I am from, and currently live in, the Pacific Northwest (WA state). I have always loved peppers and hot sauce but it wasn’t until recently that I began growing them. As cheesy as it sounds, my inspiration to start growing peppers came from watching the show ‘Superhot: The spicy world of pepper people’ on Hulu. I was fascinated by it. So I ordered some seeds and started learning how to grow pepper plants. I successfully grew 8 different pepper varieties(4 of which were superhots) in my backyard over the summer. Now my primary focus has been on making hot sauces. It’s been much more difficult than I expected though. It’s one of the many reasons I chose to join this group. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and gaining some insight from the pepper pros!
