Hi, new member here from Minnesota. A little about me, I enjoy spicy food and cooking and am ready to take things to the next level by growing my own peppers. This past fall I purchased my first home and now I finally have a yard where I can do some gardening and hopefully have lots of hot peppers on hand!
I've saved some seeds for a couple common varieties (bird's eye, habenero, jalapeno, scotch bonnet) from peppers I bought to cook with and I hope to collect some less common types before spring. It can get pretty boring around here this time of year being so cold outside so I'm hoping to build a simple indoor setup to start a bunch of seeds so they're ready to grow big when I transfer them to the soil outside.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to chatting with people and learning a lot about growing hot peppers, making sauces and cooking with them. Seems like a fun hobby!
