Hey guys,
I've lurked this board over the last 3 years as I've gone from growing a couple peppers to over a couple hundred the last year. Now I've invested in a low hoop tunnel for my plants and want to get a head start. I grow organically so I will be starting to prepare the soil now by laying down some partially composted wood chips and pouring lime and azomite on top. Next I'm gonna spread some horse manure on top of that, cover it with straw and let it cook for the next 3-4 months. Since I'm in the northwest I don't think I need to start till the end of this month at the earliest for super hots.
I have grown early jalapeño, seranos, habaneros, cherry bomb, hungarian hot wax, and aji lemon. I would like to venture into something new this year that has good flavor, moderate-high heat and can at least start to ripen in 90 days in my area. Would love any recommendations and nice to finally have an account.
