Hello from VA

Hello everyone. BigMal here from the southeastern part of VA. Been growing jalapenos and red chili peppers from the local box store for a couple years and this summer got into dehydrating them to make flakes. Tried my hand an making a sauce and that was well, a big disappointment. The garden is done for this year and already starting to think about next year. I've got plenty of space and really looking forward to branching out and trying some new and more exciting peppers. Already appreciating the great amount of input and advice I'm reading here.

Have one quick question. When is the best time to start seeds for planting in mid-April?

Welcome to THP BigMal. I'm 200-300 miles to your 11 o'clock.

My guess is you're zone 7, so I'd suggest you start your seeds Jan 1 for everything but Annuums, and start Annuums Feb 1.

Sorry to hear about your sauce disappointment, but there's tons of help here on THP to help you with your next one!

:welcome:  from sunny South Florida!  :woohoo:
