Hi all!
I'm excited to join this forum. I grow peppers in my garden in Delaware, US as a hobby. I also make hot sauce and make some cross attempts.
I'm interested especially in chinense and baccatum cultivars (my favorite flavors), wild species (this season: eximium, praetermissum, annuum var. glabriusculum and flexuosum), and interspecific hybridization in the Capsicum genus.
I also am very interested in C. pubescens, although it unfortunately doesn't grow particularly well where I live. I am fascinated by the genetic barrier which exists between it and the other cultivated Capsicum species, as well as the fact that it is considered a cultigen with no well understood extant wild ancestor.
I'm looking to learn from folks on here, share ideas, and would be interested in trading seeds as well!
